The final details of the Benefit

Thank you again for coming out to support such an important cause as to help the folks in P.I. after Typhoon Haiyan caused so much devastation. We truly believe that all of our efforts, your efforts, will positively impact those affected in the Philippines. Those of you who wrote checks, they are now deposited and are going through the 24 hour hold from the bank. All of the donated goods are finally packed. We just have to finish filling out all of the declaration forms and bring the last batch over. Since we all like numbers, here are the stats from the weekend's benefit: *170 Riders filled out waivers (we are certain this didn't account for everybody) *44 boxes of donated good containing a mix of food, clothing, blankets, shoes, childrens toys, diapers and medical supplies. We can say with certainty weigh at least 50 pounds each (and 6 50m rolls of tape) *3262 dollars in monetary donations. We will send these all to the Philippines Red Cross tomorrow when all the checks are off hold. Thank you all again for showing what the San Diego Community is really about - each other.
